‘Sisters’ is a painting inspired by a walk on Otley chevin in a Yorkshire on my birthday, a beautiful October day! It made my heart so happy seeing my two girls walking hand in hand together, Ella my eldest looking after her little sister! Thought a lot about my own little sister (not so little anymore!) as well whilst I painted it, who even though lives 30mins away I haven’t seen since the pandemic started! I do miss her!
